PETROLEUM PRODUCTS

Bitumen

Bitumen is an asphalt-like material, final product of the processing of natural bitumen, residues from the processing of coal, oil, shale tar and peat extracts. Bitumen withstands heavy loads and is used for road paving. Basically, it is used in the manufacture of asphalt. In it, it plays the role of a connecting component. Thanks to it, small stones and sand, as well as additional components of asphalt are combined into a dense solid mass.

PE (Polyethylene)

Polyethylene is the polymer used most widely. Its processing technology is relatively simple, polyethylene is recycled by all existing methods for processing plastics, while highly specialized equipment is not required for its processing directly.
The complex of chemical, physico-mechanical and dielectric properties determines the consumer properties of polyethylene and allows it to be widely used in many industrial sectors (radio, cable, light, chemical, medicine, etc.).

PP (Polypropylene)

Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer of propylene (propene).
PP is used as a material for the production of films (especially packaging), bags, containers, pipes, parts of technical equipment, plastic cups, household goods, nonwovens, electrical insulating material, in construction for vibration and noise insulation of inter-floor overlappings in the systems “floating floor". In the copolymerization of propylene with ethylene, non-crystallizing copolymers are obtained, which exhibit rubber properties characterized by increased chemical resistance and aging resistance. Polypropylene (PPP) is also widely used for vibration and thermal insulation. It is similar in characteristics to polyethylene foam. Also found decorative extrusion profiles of the PPP, replacing the expanded polystyrene. Atactic polypropylene is used for the manufacture of construction adhesives, putties, sealing mastic, road surfaces and adhesive films.
